@jearle You can see from archive.molly that all links from it are dead, and all links within it (external script/CSS etc) are x'd too.

@jearle That is the .htaccess at the www level, archive.molly is sub to that.

@jearle New blog, residing at top-level, began 13 november 2011. Going to check the .htaccess file now.

@jearle Jared, so I'd add that to .htaccess at root for each year? Or if you have time to just do it, I'll buy ALL the virtual beverages!

@jearle @brightwhite Okay Jared - an example of the old blog would be molly.com/2011/08/22/from-bl… which now resides at archives.molly.com

@jillyrocket I do, which is why I also have to accept the responsibility for said actions. Dreams can remind us where we're really at. :D
Problem I have is related to the advice here codex.wordpress.org/Moving_W… but I'd already moved everything to the subdomain w/o permalink update.

I think I found the issue with #wordpress - I moved all the files before resetting the permalinks. @blogtackular that link helped, thanksya!

@matbeeDOTcom Yeah. Mine runs on Molly's Mushy Memory (MMM) and it's pretty flawed tech, I tell ya.

Yes! @stephtara EXACTLY that! Moved site to sub, now want permalinks to follow and the integrity of top-level domain sites remain as is.

I know for a fact that there was an article about archiving wordpress sites as they "were" to a subdomain. I moved it. Got sick, lost link.

It's an entire wordpress site of yore w custom design, @jearle we're talking nearly 10 years of me blabbing on and on as I do.
If you've got said #wordpress and server insight, holler at me if you can help. Er, holler for me, I meant. Thanks :D
