Using page is problematic semantically as well. The one page app isn't a page, it's really a scroll.

Yes, I like "webthangs" or "thingies" in theory, but in practice they have no semantic use.

I still need a few walks with you and other smarties through Edge. After I get Windows set up again, that is. /

Anyone using a single term to describe "Web Sites" and "Web Apps"? A Web site is of itself an applied process. Maybe "site" is now obsolete.

Agreed! However, it's very difficult for devs to be objective about our own work much less how we interact with a given app.

The answer to that is "NO" so what do you do? And which frameworks are you testing? This inquiring mind wants to know! :D

How many "browsers, OSs, and devices" do you test on, and which ones top your list?

Ha! You have the same basic process. Have either of you ever managed to pre-eradicate the complaint point? If so, how?

That sounds thorough, especially because you're doing a QA prior to handoff, which is something I think we all should be doing!

Um, this sounds like the same thing we've been doing for a long time, Mr. Standards Developer ;-) Do you work on apps?

Oh boy do I remember! Do you think we're in a better or worse place overall now?

We both have always tended toward pragmatics in some way, and provide varied viewpoints. As I quipped - we both were right!
