Unquestionably difficult pain point @slightlylate - remember also that conversation we had was ca. 2009. We're probably a bit wiser now :-)

I'm not arguing your position, @slightlylate I strongly agree with "evidence-based . . . community use" as opposed to measurement by speed.

@robmorrissey @ppk It takes a certain courage. Or maybe it's foolishness? ;-) I can only speak for myself, and for me it's both!

@robmorrissey Yeah, that bothers me too. @ppk long has served #webdev through these statements by providing a "hard stop" alternative idea.

@bphogan I absolutely understand. Um, I put how many years into XHTML hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. What can ya do?
Me to @slightlylate "Slow down you'll make mistakes going so fast" @slightlylate to me: "We'll fix them later." Turns out we're both right.

@bphogan Who measures when *any* web tech is finished? That's the point - we must accept the inherent hungry nature of the monster we built!

If a grass-roots team published browser feature implementation priorities culling from user, developer and company input, that'd be a start.

We do not have a strong, suggested prioritization of feature implementation iteratively maintained and reviewed by standards bodies. #webdev

I am NOT pro stopping browser feature development. I AM for better synchronization between stable, consistent technology implementations.

@brucel Thanks for a kind, sane voice regarding @ppk's browser feature moratorium. @slightlylate has heard (and argued) "SLOW DOWN" from me!

From the Mols Got Married department: We never left the house, married barefoot with no set vows and spent 300 USD. Free world weddings FTW!

When you spend your days bedridden, the joy of fresh sheets and lavender scented blankies are multiplied a million-fold! #ThingsLearnedInBed

@estellevw @chaals obviously. But to me, he'll always be the family dog. You can ask for details. Your cheeks risk a big sloppy doggie kiss!

@codepo8 I do actually. You are all a bit Jesus in the best sense. If pressed I'd go with Estelle but that's just genetics not metaphor 😎
