@JosephLabrecque @kheftel It's actually a custom DTD. My brain isn't quite as on as I'd thought ;-) I actually have written them. Oy!

@kheftel @JosephLabrecque It's valid now. Interestingly, IBM used its own DTD with XHTML back in the day and added <embed> to it. :)
@JosephLabrecque @kheftel unless you were working in XML/XHTML and wrote a custom DOCTYPE. (Ooh, my brain appears to be working better lol!)

Chris has a real tricky one. This is hard! Over *time* IMG has become critical in #webdesign but in HTML itself?
