Wondering who fits into that adult guide role. Fragmentation of social services and the crossover of options is so complex it overwhelms.

Please note I am not complaining or wanting sympathy. What I want are tools and guidance to improve my circumstances despite being so sick.

The services are fragmented. Bankruptcy, disability, taxes, debt, shelter. If not for community support I am ~ a month away from homeless.

Are there guidance counselors for adults? I don't mean life coaches or therapists. I mean someone who helps you rebuild your entire life.

@julielerman That's the reference ;) - with ANC at 900 I have significantly compromised immunity at the moment. That was so long ago! #funny

@zahnster I have a newer Mac but haven't gotten it set up just yet until I get a real desk in here. So I'm using a MBP about 4.5 years old.
Wanted: One sterile bubble house with a sustainably controlled ecosystem, fully stocked and furnished for one year. No yurts, please.
