@TomGreen precisely! Public libraries are where people who have no heat or blankets or homes go. To close one for safety is no joke.
Cold and snow in Arizona is only funny to a point. Eat this: our public library was closed yesterday because it was too cold indoors.

@mattmay bingo. Flagstaff and Tucson are how many miles apart? With the highways being as bad as they are I couldn't get there in a day.
@mattmay Arizona has vast tracts of land. Where I am is a desert in avalley of the southernmost region. It does not normally snow here.

@mattmay I don't know where you were but it surely wasn't below Sedona and on the valley floor. I've lived here for over 40 years. No snow.
