I don't know if @Mrpeterdinklage is interested in #accessibility activism, but he has said that #GoT is raising awareness of his condition.
@stefsull Martin talks about that in interviews. I like his approach. We want happy endings. But that's not life. Bold approach to fiction.

@kplawver That may well be part of it, but it's not all of it. Brutality in cinema is as long as cinema. Brutality in humans is much longer!
It confused me how upset people were. I saw Caligula as a teenager, for example. I understand #GoT seems gory to some, I just don't get WHY.

What I'm confused by was how the Red Wedding scene in #GoT was so offensive and surprising to people. This is HBO, not network TV.
