@nikder I suppose someone back then probably wrote a Perl script. In fact, I'd bet on it!

Well @cackhanded - clearly our @fatbusinessman has it wrong. Your are "King of the Graphs" and nothing less! Glad to know you're on the job!

@cackhanded HI! And yes, same thing over here.

@nikder That makes sense. It's only in early W3C specs/notes I've run across XSLT advocated, hence my interest in contemporary practice :)

@soyrex I've been watching Hannibal. That might have something to do with my sudden and rare impulse control ;)
@nikder So bypass the SVG altogether? What if it's included inline in an HTML5 or app/xml doc?
Replying to @soyrex
@soyrex Ha! What nearly came flying off my fingers in response to that quip was waaaay over the line. Now I'm wondering what stopped me! :)

@nikder to create a human-readable dataset from an existing SVG chart or table, yes. I hope that clarifies! Thanks :)
Back to SVG: How do you prefer to extract data from charts and animation w/ a logical text result? XSLT can do it, but it's old and cranky.

@Geek_Manager Seems it's usually done the other way to me. Pay loads for the meeting space/amenities, get good deals on room blocks.

@wnas @yatil Of course I do it for the love. And the beer. But mostly the love ;)

Who pays well, @yatil ? I just had to search my house for enough stray change to buy beer. #seriously

@TableCell depends. I'm not all that convinced microformats themselves are providing much use in deployment these days.

@hereinthehive That's why no one is choosing it :) And darned you for finding my wild card!
Replying to @wnas
@wnas Start local, free, meetups, or get one going and speak/host. Practice and feedback are abundant. I never had that early on. You do!

@cfjedimaster I'm going to leave it up for a few days but then look back. I'm very interested in knowing too. What's your sense?
