Dear Climate: there WAS a reason I chose to live in a place called Winterhaven and have palm trees and cacti in my yard. Please to fix!

Sure, sure make fun of us @ThatEmil - but what if you wake up tomorrow in Sweden and it's 100F and dry? We'll talk then ;)

@WeatherTalk_TV Very true. And you see it here so clearly over the past few years here where weather is by default extreme.

@mattmay But it really does snow in Flagstaff. Here, the last snowstorm even remotely as dramatic was 1971, I'm told :)

@Baxley yes - flights cancelled today. I will see if I can make it up tomorrow. xox

@stevens_phil Have you seen these pics? Do you ever recall anything like this happening - I can't. It's well into an hour plus of snowfall.

Doesn't look like I'm getting out of #tucson today. Let's see how this snowmageddon goes and maybe I'll grab a flight later or in the a.m.

Locals are all debating whether we should just close ALL THE THINGS because people are such terrible drivers here. So funny. So weird.

Nope, no such thing as climate change. I've lived in this desert for 30+ years. This photo is iconic #snow #tucson

@brightwhite I think it's been warmer there this year than here :D
Replying to @VinSpee
@VinSpee No, there's ice forming on the streets and remember - we're a desert made of sandstone. Where's the water go? To the streets.
The entire state is in a winter/blizzard warning. School closures, the whole nine yards. I've never seen this happen in Southern Arizona.
