Mystery solved. I forgot - UofA classes started Monday. It's the first week of school, the kids are out by the pool with Coronas and U2.

@johnschop Oh, no. It's very real, trust me. I just never heard it before because both sides were for sale over the summer, no one there.

Ran into Cindy Lauper at a hotel bar in Shepherd's Bush in London last year. I didn't notice until she ordered in that unmistakable voice.

@john_ivanoff Ah, Debra Harry. Was talking to friends about the movie "Spun" earlier - twisted, great film. She does a cameo, brilliant.
Air conditioner stopped blowing. The house is absolutely quiet. I've shared walls to left and right but no shared utilities or air ducts.

Okay, this really is weird. When the aircon is blowing, I am hearing either the new neighbor's music. But it sounds like it's in MY house.
@someothercraig I turned 17 in 1980. Wild child. Impossible amounts of energy. Still have it in spirit, but prefer smaller, quieter venues.
@john_ivanoff I'd really love to see Cake live. They are one incredibly talented band. Precise, unique musicians dripping irony = love.
