Saw the Tubes twice more in Arizona - both great shows, but nothing like that crazy early drug-frenzied dancing in the aisles party in NJ.

The Tubes, live in Passaic, NJ. Re Styles rode a motoguzzi, Fee Waybill threw Marlboros at the audience. Quaaludes were being passed around

@pameladyer Yeah, kids today remember The Cars. But Kiss? ;)

I saw Jethro Tull live the night someone threw a rose that nicked Ian Anderson in the eye. October, 1979. I can't remember who opened tho :/

@MossyBlog So while you were being born I was being a naughty teenager and partying to two great bands live. Works for me, sad for you ;)

@cgrymala Suicidal Tendencies! I'd love to have seen them :D

@japchap perfectionist! Such focus. The venue was ASU's Grady Gammage Hall, Frank Lloyd Wright's last opera house: asugammage.com/
So, favorite bands you've seen live? I'm reminiscing. My first no family along concert was Golden Earring opening for Aerosmith, NYC 1978.

@japchap Belew totally upstaged 'em all in terms of antics, but wow, what a great concert, one of the best I ever attended, truly.
@japchap Absolutely! That tour was completely unique - nothing like it before, nothing since. Fripp sat on a stool and never interacted.
@japchap BTW, "Ripples" off of Trick of the Tail is a song that moves me to tears. It was the early 70's, I might just be flashbackin ;)
@japchap Yes! Tony Chapman on his stick, Bill Bruford with his amazing percussion set-up, Robert Fripp, and frontman Adrien Belew. GREAT!
@japchap Oh. Yes. Yes. Yes. Up until "Going for the One" then I opted out.

@ccoquet I know, and it does suck. Here, we have eggs. A few miles south, no eggs. :(

@japchap Around that time I really got into Emerson, Lake and Palmer and King Crimson. I finally saw King Crimson on the Discipline tour.
@japchap little more old school - Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound (big fave), and of course, Lamb Lies Down.

@ccoquet NO I want to buy eggs and bring them to Mexico and GIVE THEM TO PEOPLE AT NO CHARGE. Motto: Be a good egg!

@Agent_G Now it sounds like Southern Rock. I know they're from Roswell, New Mexico. Friendly guys. I'll set up an amp and serenade them.

@japchap So yeah, trick was the first album post Gabriel. Still had the magic. After that I was pretty much done.
