@MarcDrummond I don't know what that means!
Detroit area Web peeps - I'm in the hood next week so holla! Doing a breakfast talk and a Refresh talk and meeting up with awesome humans.
Me and kitty are fine. We just felt the earth move and looked at each other like "Um, meth lab or earthquake?" It's a known ritual here.

Earthquake's in Mexico, which has been having its share this past week. In Tucson, you rule out a blown meth lab first. #ThisModernLife

@Binarytales @slightlylate even I fell into that trap for a while before realizing I couldn't advocate Open Web from inside a vendor.

Activism toward browser vendors is a significant part of Open Web discourse. And teaching what's stable? What's stable Alex? @slightlylate

@danachis I will do that by early next week or so and post all the findings. Anecdotally, people seem to feel guilty for not doing enough.

@Tuna Yes, I will blog results and thoughts. I'll leave it up for the week as people are still responding. @yatil is helping #thanksYou
Thanks all for your answers about how you feel when you hear the word "accessibility" - I appreciate everyone responding so honestly :D

@ourmaninjapan Thanks Daniel! I think it's a very good fit. Besides, when I go visit the office, it's in Austin, not the north pole ;)

@slightlylate I do want things to move forward, and I want them done in a way that allows any us to teach it incrementally. Recommendations?

@beverloo It depends on who is pushing what features and how they are doing it. CSS is becoming a dumping ground for SVG techniques.
@slightlylate I just dislike seeing CSS become the dumping ground for things that don't get implemented elsewhere. I'm a semi-purist.
