As for people who find the current editor's draft for CSS variables overly-verbose: it is. It's an attempt to pattern match HTML5. Ick.

The variables in CSS is just a PROPOSAL. As should be anything on dev.w3.org. We now discuss, not implement.

Michael fixed my Martin elec/acousitc, Martin backpacker, My Takamine Grey Burst (FAVE), but left the skinny Guild. It has six strings.
