@rosemary that's lovely & poetic but I'm not sure there's much beauty in burning out, frankly. It's very painful. Fading doesn't have to be.

@zabooey I'd be disloyal and selfish to not recommend the extremely community-oriented and throws-a-hella-party @mediatemple

@shelleypowers That I was cooperative is proven out by the TSA intervening on MY behalf. That's the real interesting story here. :)
@shelleypowers I have no idea. It was surreal and bizarre. Maybe because I was crying it freaked them out? I was cooperative but very upset.
Pretty sure Neil Young and later, Kurt Cobain realized the error of that statement. It is better to fade than to burn. I think.

Wondering: Is it really better to burn out than to fade away?

@theAngryPilot I blew steam off on Twitter, not into anyone's face. Especially not in an airport. It was truly a weird, awful experience.
@theAngryPilot I did not go nuts on an airport employee, sir. They went nuts on me! It was United agents that yelled. I'm a peaceful person.
Thank you all for your wonderfulness. I am home with kitty now and it's a brand new day. xoxo/m

Oh yeah, I got ripped off. On the phone with the credit card company - the bastards made charges. Fortunately, they got on it fast.

@sowrey Yeah, won't be flying them by choice any time again.
@fixyerpixels Ooh, good to know! I got through with @tsa supervisor approval, so I'm good to go, but I'll need to replace my license.

@sowrey I'm at @sfo actually, but thank you for that :D I'm through security and my plane takes off in an hour, home in 2.

He even joked "you'll be grilled after we scan your stuff." - I thought he was being serious - he wasn't. Supervisor approval FTW!
The @tsa agent was satisfied with two prescription bottles with my full name and address on it and a business card for ID. That's it!
