The point is, the vendor-prefix problem is a SYMPTOM of a deeply rooted problem: People don't care or want or know about Web standards.

What if SVG had been implemented when it was rec'd? We'd have the majority of features webkit wants to provide at the expense of Open Web.

While CSS is where the vendor prefix issue lives, the problem is not rooted in CSS. Any fragmentation of the Open Web must be called out.

In a truly Open Web, it is not only a part of a Web developer's responsibility to fix problems in our process, but a privilege.

"We can certainly make vendor prefixes work better but we can only do that if vendor prefixes remain VENDOR prefixes." - @glazou (hurrah!)

Wow. @glazou shoots straight from the hip on vendor prefixes and a truly Open Web. Read this. Pass it around. glazman.org/weblog/dotclear/…

@markpalmerdev they were peaches. I like Apricots too. Nectarines as well. Maybe I just need to go eat some fruit!

@nashienet Nope. I was dead asleep. Although someone could have conceivably serenaded me unknowingly. Ooh, mysterious!

@nashienet Interesting. I didn't move to the country, I have no idea whether I paid for them, and there were three.

I had the strangest dream last night that I was eating peaches. They didn't look like peaches. They did taste good. Interpretations anyone?

@SteveBuell @dboudreau I love the demo. I'm definitely going to be using it in some of my sessions. It's very clear and the annotations fab.

What do you call a person with 100 pairs of shoes who walks through the worst of the world and usually does it barefoot?

@gv_design Sorry. You're not the one with bare feet walking around the house thinking "at any moment I could step in it" ;)
Excuse me, my cat is puking. Loudly.

@amhlaidgh I call "closed mind" and "not willing to adapt to the Web" on you. Your move.
