@SteveBuell I don't know what that means!
Replying to @neilcford
@neilcford Not past several of the first season. Lance Reddick annoys me as an actor for some reason and that's part of the problem.

@saalon You may well be wearing a sign! I just do that to friends as a matter of course, sign or not. Consider it an affectionate gesture ;)

@Sushubh Old standby. :D Need stuff I've not seen!!!

@saalon Wshew. So if there's a lynch mob coming after me for expressing my feelings about Fringe in public, I can send 'em toward you ;)
@benschwarz If you do get to the US, let me know. There's always room for friends here :)
I really, really wanted to like Fringe because I'm running out of weird serial scifi stuff I've not seen. *sigh*

Fringe fans don't hurt me. I have tried. I can't get into it. I feel no empathy for the characters, several of the actors I've never liked.

@m00min No wilting please. You can have your cold weather. I don't want it, that's for sure :)
@benschwarz I could live in Melbourne. Loved it there! I dunno, I love it here too. People can always visit me, too :)

@dotmariusz But that's not just HTC, I think that's today's business model. What, it's a year old? You have to buy a new one :(

@benschwarz You missed my big Australia/NZ tour several years back. Cairns/Pt. Douglas, Perth, Melbourne/St. Kilda, Sydney, Wellington. FUN!
@benschwarz And we're only going to hit 23c today, so you got us beat!
I will not brag about Tucson weather to my friends in cold climates. I will not brag about Tucson weather to my friends in cold climates. I

@dotmariusz Ah gotcha, so they aren't grandfathering in the support. That's true here too, in that you're encouraged to upgrade constantly.

@aral Good point. I wasn't thinking "native" so much as general software practices. I still struggle with "native" apps as a Web concept.

@kmdk A small price for unconditional love, purrs, and hours of laughter from this one, who is adorable but very silly.

@aexmo @aral @opera Aral - I'd separate the "seamless update" issue from the "version" issue. I see them as two very different things.

@dotmariusz It may be the carrier issue. Here in the US we get insurance and support through the carrier for phones purchased via a plan.
