@OllyHodgson True, and interop work should solve issues early so they don't get re-solved externally later, as we see in CSS w/ SASS, etc.

@cgrymala And what a pain they are to implement, as I've been told by quite a few diverse implementors.
And people wonder why certain factions have kept regular expressions out of CSS. Powerful, sure, but what a clusterfuck of ugly. #justSayin

@juliancheal It is a very dismissive turn of phrase. We don't think about it until brought up. I will now be more thoughtful about it :)

@cackhanded I agree but we do what we can to help as we can. It's at best a checkpoint, a means of gauging where one is at comparatively.
@kevdog That would be a different workshop then. Certainly a worthwhile approach but not broad enough for this audience.
