@smiffy Something I had no idea about 'til I actually visited Australia was the amount of racial tensions in areas there.

@katcal How's relocated life going btw? I don't keep kosher so I do partake of the pork. Surely bacon is heaven sent?

@creding "Hanging to the left" might be TMI about your API ;)

@creding Ever had latkes? That's the primary Jewish food at Hanukah. Potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce. Soooo good.

@captbrogers What was intriguing about it? Menorahs span teh awesome, with some wild unusual artistic ones, and ancient traditionals too.

@smiffy Bingo. That's exactly it, particularly in a place that was supposedly created explicitly separating Church and State. Ha. Ha. Ha.

@katcal Oh, that just makes it worse! "What, no Christmas HAM?" Another thing not to say to cultures that don't partake of the porcine.

@Sushubh "I'm a godless heathen and I approve this message" - OMFG! That clip is hilarious. Alas, truth in humor.

@MurraySilber I know. I wanted to stop and take a photo/vid but it would have been inappropriate. That's okay, it'll stay with me forever!

@MossyBlog It's really a hell of a pickup line, isn't it? I hit "send" and then realized "wow, I could use that ;)"

@smiffy Fair enough, just know that some of us grew up very much aware we were a minority, and it influences a person's perspective.

Two things never to say to others at Christmas: "You poor thing, you never got presents?" and "But you have Hanukah/Kwanzaa/Solstice right?"

How does that make a difference? @smiffy It's a completely different holiday. Hanukah celebrates war victory and reclamation of the Temple.

How's you're API, Web dev guy?

Oh well, enough about laughing Rabbis and the spirit of the season. After all, we're here to talk about HTML5, right?

@hellodeibu And that's in my opinion what the holiday season is about - they cycles of our lives. Religion is IMO meant to be individual.

@richquick 10 Orthodox Rabbits? That's hilarious and I'm laughing my chamomile tea right out of my nose but I have no idea why.
Replying to @acroll
@acroll There is no freedom, as we are an irresponsible nation. And we are sadly very far from United. America IS irony.

@hellodeibu Jewish. Grandfather was a chassidic rabbi. No such thing as Hanukah bushes in my home, you can bet on that.
