@sandeeproy1 @Sushubh Chrome is gaining my interest due to cool apps, many that sync with my android device. I love Opera Mobile on my HTC!

@Sushubh @sandeeproy1 What specifically don't you like? These days, unless I'm testing, I rarely open Safari, Firefox or IE.

When text size is bumped up considerably, the Chrome "bubble" appears almost to be part of the browser chrome. twitpic.com/6rlpjx

@DaiTengu Actually, I just tested that too, and bumping up the text nice and big actually makes the bubble far less annoying to me! Cool.

@SecretHQTweets Maxthon is based on Trident, right? With a bit of WebKit now thrown in too? Not tried it, don't use Windows too often.

@DaiTengu I tend to bump up text size to ease my aging eyes, that would make the problem more obvious, I imagine.

@DaiTengu Yep, Firefox has it too, but it also has a standard status bar as a visual anchor. Still annoying to me. Everyone's different!

@DaiTengu the URL status pop-up on the lower left is referred to as "the bubble"

@sbisson @DaiTengu I really find the bubble annoying - every time it pops up it distracts from focus. That's a significant usability issue.

@slauriat I've seen Chrome forum posts begging for an opt-in. There's an extension for full URLs in the "bubble" but no actual status bar.

@SailorjX For Web devs it makes sense, but what I find interesting is how many advanced users of the Web run multiple browsers.

@SailorjX I don't purposely abuse browsers. It's usually part of my job to do so, though.

@woodss HA! I didn't even catch that part. Course, we don't use the term "wind" as much as "gas" ;)
And while Chrome is growing on me as a regular-use browser, I still really wish it had a real status bar option. Don't mess with convention.

@woodss Only the English got stuck on the "back" part of that post. I'll let that comment stand for itself ;)

@Sushubh I'm just pointing out that speed does not equal quality. Not in relation to any specific browser, but all of them.
