@NickFitz HTTP is the hypertext protocol. It's failsafe. HTTP alone does not make the Web.

What I find most ironic is that someone still has to be reminding devs of WHAT THE WEB IS. We educators have failed, failed, FAILED.

TCP/IP + HTTP is the physical Web, @NickFitz. The content ideals are clearly set: transcendent of platform, OS, software, location, ability.
