I've said it to her in recent years, how much it bothers me that she has so much rage. I don't want her to die angry, she deserves better.

The "interaction" however is some kind of paranoid ideation in my Mom's head. It makes me so sad for her, angry too but I can get past that.
Trying to keep my spirits up. Got an email from my stepdad "Your mom is sick from this interaction, I must shield her." He's a good guy.

@design_love My mom still has wonderful moments of lucidity. I just have to remember whatever this was about, it isn't personal. It's hard!

@kev_nz Well, again, fortunately she has a very stable, younger husband at her side. I worry for him too.

@Fifikins *hugs* and thanks. I emailed them exactly what I thought. My Mom is usually lucid, but goes into phases. My stepdad is a rock.
@Jeffylube I did the whiskey part yesterday. It did help. Today I'm working on patience ;)
