@nicepaul I'm using the not-dense Gmail preview theme right now and it's great. Very clean, uncluttered and logical. I'm impressed too.
FYI my MBP is running smooth n' cool. It was definitely that process. I'm so relieved. I thank you all again for helping me figure that out.

@dvyjones No way! That's incredibly warm for Norway. I was there once when it was about 88. Our expected high today: 102. ;)
@dvyjones The very first MBPs were famous for actually burning people. I had a fairly hot one. It worked great as a heat source in Oslo!

@haveboard I used Chrome several days ago just for testing. I had one window open with no additional tabs, and exited it after the task.

@Bhooshan This MBP has always run cooler than any other I've had. And, with the Chrome Helper process killed, it's totally chilled out now.
