I'm using the not-dense Gmail preview theme right now and it's great. Very clean, uncluttered and logical. I'm impressed too.

FYI my MBP is running smooth n' cool. It was definitely that process. I'm so relieved. I thank you all again for helping me figure that out.

Yes, you will learn a lot but there will be more to learn after you learn all of that. 'tis the nature of Web design. :)

Yay! BTW, I fly in tomorrow. You going to be at Wharton? Either way, we should figure out an evening for a meetup.

They never pet me anymore. I think I know half the TSA workforce by now. Don't worry. I'm sure their love is still strong.

TWO days. Sucking 96%-99% of my CPU. I thought it was a hardware problem. Folks helped. It's a known issue:

No way! That's incredibly warm for Norway. I was there once when it was about 88. Our expected high today: 102. ;)

The very first MBPs were famous for actually burning people. I had a fairly hot one. It worked great as a heat source in Oslo!

I used Chrome several days ago just for testing. I had one window open with no additional tabs, and exited it after the task.

Hi there! No, I'm not a programmer. I was a frontend web dev who stumbled into writing, speaking, teaching and browser making.

Not for this MBP, it's a rather chill machine and immediately cooled down after killing that life-sucking process.

This MBP has always run cooler than any other I've had. And, with the Chrome Helper process killed, it's totally chilled out now.

Thanks! Seems to be on the mend already. Google needs to look into that little problem. Scared me half to death.
