@LeaVerou What I understood the prob to be: <link src="print.css" media="print"><link src="main.css">

@warneronstine @tucsonlabs @humanmosaic Awesome! I prefer to say is "universal" or "responsive" in design rather than "scale up from mobile"

@japchap I will. And I intend to do these every so often until I am old(er) and grey(er). :D

@LeaVerou it was about multiple link elements in HTML with one that had no media attribute. It turned into a many-headed creature, however.

@henry_mora yes. You pay for your travel and hotel, the course is at no cost to you. I and others provide refreshments/activities/location.

@MJ I'm betting Squee is a He!
The original q involved a link element in a stack of others without any media attribute. That defaults to "all" cc @LeaVerou @IanPouncey

I think our human sort order has cascaded into its own specificity nightmare at this point, @LeaVerou @IanPouncey lol!

@spoke6 we should meet and talk about this. I'm outta here early Friday a.m. for two weeks but would love to talk more.
Look at that. Within mere minutes of saying "hey wanna do a free course" the awesome @spoke6 offers up their co-working space. Humans FTW!
Replying to @spoke6
@spoke6 Absolutely. How much seating do you have?
Replying to @LeaVerou
@LeaVerou sorry about that. You got your CSS in my HTML, and I got my HTML in your CSS. Twitter-not the best platform for these discussions.
in HTML, <link> element sort order is important, particularly if one of those links is missing a media value. No value, default is "all"

@LeaVerou Sorry, there's the confusion. We were talking about multiple <link> elements in the HTML document not in the .css document.

@andr3 @joomlaworks @media @meyerweb @leaverou @simplebits why not keep it simple and use the "all" media type properly? :D
Replying to @LeaVerou
@LeaVerou Very strange. CSS 2.1 specificity and cascade should work equally across browsers, particularly Opera. Still confused!
