@mybrainisfull Awww, come over here, it's very very quiet for a change as there's very little traffic on Prince, and no commercial traffic.

@alohanico I never used photovine, to be honest, had never heard of it.

@eaboyeji In the CSS Working Group we are finally seeing the benefits of modularization. CSS3 is coming fast, furious and interoperable!

@JeremiahLee Beautifully writ! May I quote that in a presentation? That's exactly the core of my frustration. You rock!

Insofar as Apple goes, I'm not a hater. I'm sitting here on an MBP! I'm just not into fragmentation where it concerns Web tech. It's my job.

I would encourage folks who don't know much about the Open Source movement to read up. While not Open Web per se, OS has compatible ideas.

@franksting I'm pissed at Apple and instagram for continuing this "one platform" ideology when the technology they're using is Open.

@eaboyeji I understand - is it not then upon consumers, activists and advocates to raise their voices and say what they want from a company?
@eaboyeji I'm not pleased with WebKit's past. But I do see a lot more from Apple and WebKit in terms of W3C participation than in the past.
A compelling question, @eaboyeji I happen to think if there IS a hell, it's probably a lot more fun and has a lot more of my friends in it.
@eaboyeji We have to examine these things in light of how they will influence our work and evolution. Look what happened with IE!
@eaboyeji Yes, they do. I just don't happen to agree with the walled garden/vendor lock-in approach. It isn't in step with Open Web ideals.

@itsmatthewj And it's this gorgeous most of the year here! It's so funny when I visit the UK and say how much I enjoy the rain. :D

@JeremiahLee That's a fair point! I don't want Apple to make less innovative products, I just want them to do it in an interoperable way.

@SailorjX HAHA. Hey Judd, that means you'll be like my own private app store! Cool.

@Jonic LOL! We'll fix the world. Give us a few hours yeah ;) BTW re: WP, I'm doing pretty well on that myself. I'll holler if I need help.
Replying to @JeremiahLee
@JeremiahLee Look, in a consumer society, what Apple is doing is SMART business. But it's not good for society in my opinion. That is all.

@Jonic Everything has foibles. How many iFones are absolutely perfect? Hahaha.

@Jonic It's antithetical to the Web. It makes me mad, mad, mad.
