@darington I heard Black Sabbath's first album (self-titled) when I was about 14. I was paralyzed and mind-blown and forever changed.

@darington That's a good point, but in the case of War Pigs, well Black Sabbath - hard band to beat in irony or vocals.

@trygve_lie I'd call that an interpretation rather than a cover, honestly. It departs from the overall original speed/structure of the song.

I still like Black Sabbath's original War Pigs better than Cake's. Few covers are truly p0wned, such as Johnny Cash covers "Hurt" and "One"
