If you follow only a handful of people, @EricaGlasier I could see that. Try following over 2,000 - legitimately and without any PR intent.
Am I the only one who sees how the Activity stream is demonstrative of a shift toward monetization of Twitter and its denizens? My opinion.

The Twitter Activity feed is not only annoying, it's also a haven for guerilla advertisers, black hat spammers, and regular ol' PR machines.

@sgalineau Most of us can't forget W. It's a form of Post Traumatic Disorder. Flashbacks, sweating, panic attacks, distortion of reality.

@frenchysdf G+ and I still haven't found our dance rhythm. I use FB a lot because so many friends and family members do. I prefer Twitter.
