The most important lesson to take from Flash? Don't ever, ever put all your developer eggs into one basket. Skill diversity is essential.

@zenPsycho @aral - Flash became a web /convention/ not standard.
I feel badly for all the good Macromedia folks I knew that ran into challenges moving over to Adobe way back when now.

@Tuna You're in Perth. I'm a few doors down from Adobe HQ every month or so. Makes a difference ;)
@Tuna They have resources to work on that now too ;)

@idleglory @caseorganic @twaddington It's actually from the film, the song "If I were king of the forest" ;)

(Previous tweet courtesy L. Frank Baum and the Wizard of Oz, all twisted references my own. Well, mostly).
"If I were Queen of the Web, Not Godess, not Duchess, not Princess. My regal robes of the Web, would be open, transparent, not closed."

Adobe has long had the best entrance into creating great tools. Imagine an #HTML5 GUI for APIs with quality JavaScript? Built-in #ARIA #SVG!

@ccoquet In my heritage we call that "rolling over in the grave" ;)

@designbyadmiral Yes, but there's legacy, and that will matter for some time to come.
@designbyadmiral Flash was never a "Web" platform IMO. It became a media platform of its own.
@jlangham I did my best to help there. Done with that battle, as are many of my fellow veterans ;) Onto others now.
Adobe to drop FLASH player for mobile devices. #HTML5 but more! Adobe has pre-existing tools to improve for #SVG. Hmm! bit.ly/uVcWJ5

@zdfs We write it Tucson, "c" first. It's confusing because our airport is TUS. Tucson is a primary US aviation and defense location.
@Step_Quick too much hassle. BELIEVE. Walk toward the light...
@zdfs I live in Tucson. This is Raytheon land. I'm not looking for defense jobs, they send me stuff. I'm like "Dudes bark away. Wrong tree."
@jcroft Now that's infinite commitment. Do like!
I've given up View Source. I'm pretending all markup is just a magnificent interpretation of The Living Standard. Including my own.

@ZenPsycho Actually, it's the correct terminology. Not that I'm a semantic pedantic or anything ;)
