Christmas gets plenty of attention, @wnas. I'm trying to spread the holiday dev love around the globe with a little more diversity is all :)

@itsmatthewj I don't know in terms of law. Clearly, it's being demanded or you don't get certified, full stop.

@MoodleDan I think all of the cameras take care of recording that ;)
Let's see, what other holidays are celebrated in winter? I can cover HTML5 Hanukah. How about a SASS Solstice? Python La Posada?

@MoodleDan I'm actually more comfortable with a criminal check for anyone responsible for kids. Fingerprinting seems a little over the top.

Was just looking at teacher certification requirements in Arizona for emerging technology educators. FIRST requirement: fingerprints

@jordangray I absolutely adored Spaced by the way. I believe @andybudd recommended that and Little Britain, two of my all-time top comedies.

@jordangray Ha! That just made my week, and it's not been a happy week, so thank you for the #OutBritonedByAnAmerican tag. Excellent!
@ZenPsycho Thanks! I understand what you mean now :)
@ZenPsycho Oh, gotcha - absolutely my experience for benchmarking and performance of apps regarding JS VM's. ALL VMs for that matter.
@ZenPsycho what do you specifically mean by "unnatural sweet spot code?" - I'd like to understand better! Thanks.
@ZenPsycho @badass_js I like the anything in > JS out idea though. Fairly awesome.
@ZenPsycho Oh sorry! I saw an implied WTF where there wasn't one. Yes, it uses emscripten. Pretty cool :)
@ZenPsycho LLVM is like a transform for platform-agnostic compilation. emscripten transforms input from Ruby, Python, etc into JavaScript.
