@jcroft you did, kiddo. You'll also notice that comment was not addressed to you, so there! :P

@kmdk @CharJTF @brucel Oh yes. Bruce rants exquisitely about this issue :)
if you think CSS 2.1 as rec today is funny, think again. That experience is in part why CSS3 is modularized and why CSS3 can move quickly.

@CharJTF That's just awful! Good for you for opening your mouth. This is part of the problem - rampant misinformation from relevant sources!
@mikecane I know, the new speed dial is hot hot hot! And I cannot believe how fast it is. Me likes!
REAL news of the day: CSS 2.1 is a proposed recommendation! Congrats to the CSS-WG - was a long, hard road but filled with so many lessons.

@ceffyl1 I understood ;) And oh, I agree so very much.
Replying to @ceffyl1
@ceffyl1 Open Web is a technology "stack" or "suite" that includes HTML5, SVG, CSS, etc. So sick of the HTML5 is EVERYTHING crap.
Replying to @JeremiahLee
@JeremiahLee SVG is great! But let's get the record straight. As professionals these distinctions are *critical* to our success!

@frankjonen I'm not there, and I spent years tossing vitriol at said individual. No longer my battle. I just try to undo the damage now.

@frankjonen A certain person on stage at MIX during the keynote today.
Say it with me people "SVG is not HTML5" - in fact, SVG 1.0 became a rec on 4 September 2001. You do the math. MolsGettingMadderEveryDay

@miketaylr Time standards, Mike. Perhaps we need to start a "No Standards" movement for those who realize we cannot control time after all.
All this pushing and pulling and merging can get a girl tired, you know. There's only so much forking I can take! RepoMols

@jrobertson good, I'm glad to hear it. I know what you mean. Placing people on a pedestal is dangerous. They usually fall off it on to you!

@alexknowshtml @obiwankimberly will you not be in town or do other issues keep you away, Alex? We are quite excited, I will say :)
Replying to @ppk
Sorry to say I had to cancel, @ppk. If you feel a buzzing around your ears during your keynote, that's just me virtually checking in on you!
Replying to @stefsull
@stefsull @ang raining and cold here as well. And I take off in the a.m. for Dallas, which looks warmer than Tucson atm! Brrrr.
