@kplawver I know, it is such a wonderful smell. One of the greatest, most powerful in my life's experience. Carnitas are awesome too.
No argument here, @jaffathecake @tabatkins. Simply a point that "modern" medicine is as if not more flawed and dangerous as "alternatives"

Someday I'll show you my scars, my medical charts, and what was done to me as acceptable modern medicine. @tabatkins @jaffathecake
it's raining! Hmm. April showers won't bring May flowers in Tucson, methinks. More like: rain today, flowers tomorrow, gone by Monday.

I'm all for empiric data, btw. Look into this nation's medical-industrial complex and once you have, let's revisit. @jaffathecake @tabatkins

Ah, the naivete of youth. Who CARES if it's placebo if it helps and does not harm, where no help has been found? @tabatkins @jaffathecake

@crunchysue ROFL! That is the nicest thing anyone may have ever said to me. All based on my incongruous enjoyment of crappy pulp fiction.

@crunchysue I can't remember but highly likely! All early '80s books, before she really found her voice. They were, IMO, quite awful.
@crunchysue To my recollection, no horses were involved!

@crunchysue Anne Rice wrote five "little-girl goes wrong gets spanked a lot faux-erotica" under the names Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure
@tabatkins @stefsull Naturopathic medicine has helped my myriad problems far more than allopathy. Exceptions: trauma, dentistry, psychiatry.

@tabatkins empiric evidence does not trump human experience. I've rejected allopathy for almost all things medical but trauma @stefsull
I think I still have sand in my ears and eyes. Hard to believe logic prevailed in the U.S. today. Doubt that will last. And I'm an optimist.

:: Pulls head up out of sand :: What? The US government hasn't come to a screeching halt over Planned Parenthood. We did something LOGICAL?

Going to go play Ostrich again. All this political shite makes me mad. A MadMols is better than a DepressedMols. I'd just rather be joyous.

@seanhills P.S. I was born in Brooklyn too ;)
