@seanhills Now THAT makes sense! :)

@alexdc glad to hear that, Alex. It's no fun to be on the wrong side of the IRS. / @robertmurray

@seanhills sure. That's called "CYA" ;)

I agree, @zahnster. It's called "rhetoric" - and it is, in fact, rhetorical rhetoric.

@robertmurray @alexdc You guys get money back? I just had two paychecks levied by the IRS for underpayment. Nice, huh?

As a woman and a human I don't agree, not if they're going to use right-to-life as the scapegoat. No way, no how, @DottedT

@seanhills Do you remember when the US shut down 15 years ago? I do. Our military will not be paid if this happens, you do realize?
Well, I guess there's no better time than to let you know about the National Association of Government Webmasters @nagw conference!
The "...banks become too big to fail...they're now basically sucking at the tit of the government." - Mark Blyth, Brown University
Here's my preferred link to the US #shutdown situation: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ the main page today is filled with info and updates.

Shutting down government over right-to-life while denying pay to our military, who live AND die for us? It's illogical, immoral, unethical.

I've spent my life believing in core ideals. Democracy, for example. An Open Web. Both seem to be crumbling around me and I'm getting mad.

Active duty military won't get paid. Federal services will be unavailable to the public. But WE the people STILL have to PAY THE TAXMAN.

Love this: "Members of Congress will be reimbursed their entire salaries no matter how long the shutdown lasts." #impendingdoom #fixthisshit

So the shutdown of US Federal Government is based on spending re: women's health and Planned Parenthood? I smell bullshit.

@designjuju There's an awe that comes with being out in the desert swathed in complete darkness and whipped by a freeing and wild wind.
@swag247 My folks live in Boulder City. I've driven that road before Lake Las Vegas existed and Henderson was a small town! So beautiful.

@zibin @segebee so nice you had a chance to meet F2F in Nigeria. It is my greatest pleasure to see people join together for common good :)

@zibin @segebee Mangoes are wonderful. But I always envision @zibin with a green apple as every time we've been together he's had one :D
