Oh bless you @stephenhay! "mobile hostile" - that's pretty hysterical. Looking forward @bdconf where we can have these talks F2F. With beer!
@EricaGlasier Yes, of course, but content is done at document level and changed responsively via media queries or server-side transforms
@EricaGlasier There are ways to address this in design and technology. We have the skills, we just lack consistent, evolving education.

Bingo, @kangham. "dev teams must like to rebuild their UIs for each new platform" - anyone want to take a guess on how many platforms exist?
Replying to @cwilso
@cwilso you have a point. But that was 20 years ago now.

@captbrogers no, there were two rants in one tweet ;)
@EricaGlasier nope, content still can be designed for both circumstances. This is in part what CSS was meant to do.
ANNOYANCES OF THE DAY: People categorizing "mobile web" as a distinct entity; and people using unfinished features in deployed apps. SezME!

@gregferrell pineapple? That sounds like a sticky situation.
What the heck does "mobile friendly" mean? The Web was always meant to transcend platform, OS, device, ability. This is why history matters.

@captbrogers awww. I get it now. :: blush :: Fo shizzle, my captizzle!
Replying to @captbrogers
@captbrogers I have no idea what that means, but apparently it's some form of vernacular in which case it passes validation.
@dsieg1 absolutely! Let me know if you have more specific questions, and I'll do what I can to help!
Someone changed the safe word and failed to tell me, @gregferrell. If you know it, let me know it, okay?
Replying to @captbrogers
@captbrogers then clearly you are hanging out with the wrong people. Fo Shizzle!

@rrragan wow, that's so cool! I'm just now reading up on regions, as the proposal is brand new to the group. You prolly know far more than I
@tedgrafx DONE! And thank you.
