@frogtosser Heh. I was contracting for MSN when they made that deal. That wasn't really so long ago, unless you're 20.

@claudia_snell Actually, I get my personal best suggestions for tv/film/music mostly from men. I like action ;)
@willsansbury Absolutely! It was my dad who turned me on to Star Trek (the *original* series of course) and the Beatles.

I'll put that on the list, @RenaissDesign. Canceled shows are often real gems: Wonderfalls for example. I loved that series.
Replying to @RenaissDesign
@RenaissDesign Didn't like it. Main character is a bit too smarmy for my tastes. I'm a bit picky about TV. But thanks for the suggestion!
@willsansbury That's really cool. And waaaaay geeky. ;)

I happen to really like well-crafted series, especially when I can watch them sequentially on my own time. Immersion principle.
Okay, it's settled. I'm going for Burn Notice, which I've not watched though it has caught my eye and @jmspool cites as being "awesome"
Replying to @jmspool
@jmspool Burn Notice has kind of looked good. I think that's the direction I'll go. Thanks Jared!

@jmspool Never watched Sports Night. As for IT Cowd - I keep turning them off and turning them on again (badumpun!)
Replying to @laserone
@laserone Indeed. They are very connected to things in a visceral way. Hence the "mother ship" jokes. ;)

@GeorgeTakei I'd call them ankle-biters, George, but trolls don't even rank that high. You are a class act and they're just envious.
Okay, weekend priorities: Caught up with Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds. Enjoyed that. Any movie/tv suggestions for a lazy Mols Sunday?
