@jalbertbowdenii Wow, I love that idea. Not just money, but other resources: insurance coverage; job-trade/barter; the list goes on.
Replying to @hober
@hober no, didn't know there was such a beast. I'm not a freelancer anymore though.

@iso100 hahaha, an added feature :)
Yes, a guild does sound so much nicer than a union, which carries too many political oogies. Guild is more collaborative.
Even for the TAB (temporarily able bodied) it's important we talk guilds and pro organizations to assist our profession specifically.

@mikecane so if I am left homeless because I can't cope, you'd walk right past me on the street knowing it was me?
Replying to @Chasapple
@Chasapple I'm not sure how that helps.
If we are freelancers, those resources are even harder to find. If we work for a corporation, perhaps it's better, but never consistent.

Web folk: We are an age-centric group. How do we deal with aging devs and declining health? We have no societies, unions or representation.

@tabatkins What? Yelling in a CSS WG meeting? Impossible.

@tabatkins why are you freaking out about timestamps? Shouldn't you be paying attention to the long history of CSS3 text? :P
