Yes, a guild does sound so much nicer than a union, which carries too many political oogies. Guild is more collaborative.

without a doubt, it's a broad issue. Many other industries have guilds or professional organizations that help with those things.

If we are freelancers, those resources are even harder to find. If we work for a corporation, perhaps it's better, but never consistent.
