While the 그 looks a lot like the Hebrew bet(h) ב as well as an iron or hangman game, it is actually the Hangul syllable "Geu." Fascinating.

I wish I'd kept the comic books I collected as a child/teen. I consumed them for creative, fantastical thrills but not as a form of art.
