Reports from #svgopen are saying that MS is emphasizing work "on SVG embedded in HTML5 documents" - that means SVG as text/html woohoo!
@aspendew well I think one of the positive factors is that MS is now talking about development as it evolves, not after a product ships. :)

@johnantoni you betcha. Some interesting info coming out of MS's presentation on SVG at #svgopen - worth a follow no doubt.
oh ye of little faith, @aspendew! For MS to be implementing SVG is a great step forward for SVG, which has had a long and rocky ride.

They're currently listening to Microsoft discuss what they've been up to with SVG, and what they are able to implement in IE9. #svgopen
SVG anyone: Both @andreasbovens and @erikdahlstrom from @opera are in Paris attending #svgopen. Follow their tweets or the hashtag.

@dsifry Working @opera for abt 2 years-loving it! I'm in Norway right now. I'm also in the South Bay a lot, not in SF much these days :(
You have to submit any errata formally, @tuhinkumar ;) Then I'll wait a year til everyone is over the transitions/gradient mania and add it.
Replying to @overra
@overra Now that's reasonable and intelligent. I was being funny ;)
