I've changed pw's and settings and the actual spamming seems to have stopped. I can read emails. I just can't send any via @gmail.
@Sushubh Yes. I'm not the only one. Apparently a group of spammers nailed quite a few accounts over the last 24. Mean, awful people.

Holy spam and eggs, batman! Someone seriously hacked @gmail and my account is now over limit for answering email. WTF? Mondays. Grrr.
Home in Tucson. There's a wind of change, it's still hot but there's definitely the beginning of a shift into autumn.
bed for Mols at least for 2 hours. Bliss! Then on a plane to another plane and finally, HOME! A whole week there 'til I cross the pond.

@MarcDrummond @stevemarshall - all true to the best of my understanding. Codecs remain a serious stumbling point in HTML5 media.
WebM is open, @MarcDrummond, not encumbered. I hope I've clarified my position on this. The codec issue is a very emotional one, I think. :)
