The still sad truth is that glioblastomas have a very poor prognosis overall. With surgery he gains about 1 year (statistically) of life.

My friend Dale is out of ICU after 5 hours of surgery. He woke up and asked for a cheeseburger! Best possible prognosis for the situation.
