To charge such money like that for simple food is criminal. Absolutely criminal. And I just came from Norway, land of expensive everything.
So I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (price unknown) and a salad. I'll let you know the total after 20% enforced gratuity + room charge.
AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. That is all.
Not happy. Not happy with this situation here at all. I am not a freakin' rich person nor am I 25 years old. I came to work, not to party.

@css3watcher The description for my session is wrong on the website, fyi: http://bit.ly/993g0s
In re: the CSS3 Online conf via Think Vitamin - the description of topics next to my name is incorrect. Will be clarified, but just FYI.
Hmm, I'm hungry. Macaroni and cheese from room service? 21.00 USD. That's just fucked up.

That's the beauty of youth, @gdruckman. Perfection and arrogance. I feel like a stranger in a very strange land. Miami, what a scene.
Nope, I'm completely sober. These are really beautiful people. @gdruckman - looks like a fashion show with lots of near-nudity.
This hotel is a major party scene. When I walked in I thought I was in some kind of fairly land where everyone was beautiful. And drunk.

@abcoates 7 hours (Oslo is +1 from you). After so many years, jet lag becomes permanent, I suspect. :)
Replying to @ClaireLeah
@ClaireLeah well, see, that's why I'm sayin' it's normal! If you're still up give me a call.
Up at 3 a.m. local time - that's not jet lag, that's my own crazy circadians dancing their rhythm. HELLO MIAMI!
Replying to @pekingspring
@pekingspring I wasn't there, as I was making yet another hemispheric leap. But there might be video, we'll have to follow up with @brucel
Replying to @CozyCabbage
@CozyCabbage hey, I've had enough of frozen for a long while. That includes frozen food, and fjords. I prefer my fjords unfrozen. ;)
@prisca_eyedea it feels like a dream, with London in the creamy center as I was there for all of 3 hours. I waved as we flew over :) xoxo/m
From frozen fjords to coconut palms all in a day.
Replying to @jaybee3
@jaybee3 Haven't seen a single armed cop this time. Last time they were walking around holding rifles across their chests, ready for action
Out of the snow, and into the rain. @LHR with the teeming masses. Child running nearly went flying over my left foot, making us both scream.
