@johubris And here I am in Oslo, truly a world away. I miss you too. Please send my love to all at #webstock!
After reading through all the Adobe/HTML5 FUD, I think I like this summation best, and agree with it: http://is.gd/8DTF8

@jbowtie Hmm, I think I *was* making a pass at you! ;)
To ease into HTML5, @sprynmr try html5doctor.com. For hardcore, check out the w3c, what-wg documentation and public-html list. Enjoy!

One thing I find very difficult, @frankstallone, is keeping up with one on one relationships when my career has been so public. It's a bug!

And @Manage_Kelley points out that while the web community tends to be a welcoming one, there are platform/OS/tech arguments nevertheless.
So @nashienet asks if I think the web dev community is "too cliquey and hard to break into" yes and no. It depends how hungry you are.

Fair question from the lovely @estherschindler - why do I not retweet? Personal preference. It's passive. I'm not exactly passive ;)

I agree @moon in re: F2F interaction. That's why I travel the world to learn from our community. The personal experience is priceless.
"To clarify re Adobe blocking & HTML5, that is an ongoing discussion and I've no opinion yet. It's the one web any device claim I'm wary of"
Actually, @intranation and @coderead, I did state my opinion. Check my tweets, you'll see two specifically related to what I am thinking.
I'm with @mrjawright in experience, but I do know that certain communities are more difficult to break into, as @fakebaldur attests.
Replying to @JonnyR
@JonnyR Awesome! Just make sure it's after I'm done as I'll be rather jetlagged.
Replying to @Linnaeus
@Linnaeus yeah, I know. I'm weird. It's part of my charm ;)
Replying to @fakebaldur
@fakebaldur I am quite disturbed to hear that your students are shot down like that. Maybe people are more defensive in a tough economy?
