@abcoates You are a smarty pants. Bet you've long been the class clown. Am I right?
chuckling about @KevinMarks' comment on the culture shock encountered when hitting SXSW and then MIX in the same week. Night and day!
Replying to @kevinmarks
@kevinmarks I KNOW! I had to do it last year and I am at SXSW 1 day this year, fly out that night for MIX. It's an unfortunate clash.

@BAoki make sure to tweet me, we'll get together.

@kevinmarks And I work for Opera Software. So you can't trump me with ecosystem excuses! I live for contrast. Great photo btw.

@kevinmarks You wait for invitations to speak? Oh that's right. You *are* English. :P

@kevinmarks I'm just reporting, not getting into the codec wars. BTW, MIX for you this year again?
Replying to @edgarparada
@edgarparada Thanks! I'll be speaking on HTML5 :D Full-day workshop. Lots of cool materials in the works here for that.
Replying to @KuraFire
@KuraFire fair enough. But tell that to a rabid Linux user. Seriously.
The platform wars, the OS wars, the browser wars, the font wars, now the codec wars. Day-um, we web folk should be pulling down hazard pay.

Just spreading the news @edgarparada, not evangelizing the format per se. Point is it will bring a way to use HTML vid on Linux, in IE, etc.
HTML5 Theora Video Codec for Silverlight! - http://awe.sm/50zqP a video platform everywhere? Planned to be open source.

of course everyone's spouse believed that we were delayed two hours in L.A. for de-icing. "Really honey. Here, talk to the flight attendent"
Replying to @estherschindler
@estherschindler Yep, that was due to me flying over. I apologize! Now I understand why the plane had to be de-iced in Los Angeles.
I'm going to need a canoe to get out of the house if I want to go anywhere today. Brought the rain home with me and then some.
I just love cynics on airplanes. Truly, it's the only way to fly and keep a modicum of sanity these days. Off to shower and bed w/ me Molzzz
Made it home in one piece - despite the comment from my spidery flight attendant friend who quipped "We're quite the bottle rocket now!"
Ok no match lighting please. We are on our way fly birdie fly!
yeah @porter they moved wing tank fuel into the central tank and added warm fuel to wings.
The epa doesn't allow glycol at lax. The pilot is warming the wings by pumping jet fuel through them.
