@akashrine Provence. First a rose' now a white. Very dry, both. Lovely.
And people think I have such a glam life. Sometimes, it's very lonely. But mostly not. But sometimes.
French wine buzz coming on. Wondering who wants to chatter with an American girl in France who has free wifi. OH: "Lemon pie or Raspberry?"
Replying to @glazou
@glazou I can read Norwegian and glean meaning. I think Swedish might be slightly easier. It gets harder to learn language as one "ages"
@larasati There's a group of Italian guys across the bar. The young one keeps giving me the "eye" but we have no common language. Yet. :P
Replying to @tobyx
@tobyx you have ADD? You should see me in this bar with the frenchmen and their very nice rear ends :P Talk about bright n' tight. Hello.
Replying to @dmnplb

Replying to @cwilso
@cwilso My goodness, gardening? Home improvement? Time off for diving? Sounds like that thing called a life. Miss you though.
Replying to @ClaireLeah
@ClaireLeah Standards for device interop. It seriously relates - she knew exactly what I did. I knew less about what she did.
Replying to @CoryBooker
@CoryBooker I hope you're not still mad at me for my EWR jokes. So when are we putting together our Newark Rocks the World Wide Web event?
Replying to @rozallin
@rozallin Perhaps because HCI is not a new idea, rather, you can see that the wheel doesn't need to be reinvented for the Web, but reshaped.
I hope nobody took that earlier tweet re: Outliers as some egocentric masturbatory self-involved bullshit. The quick read struck me is all.

@glazou Are you bringing this lovely lady to the part er meeting? I am sad I couldn't find her facial cream. But you should bring her along!
Just met an Italian particle physicist working for Sony Ericsson out of Stockholm. She works on standards, too. World so small.
Replying to @brucel
@brucel that's one serious reason why I took a job with a Scandinavian company. Middle class in the US have it the worst re: medical.
Replying to @jnnx
@jnnx 10,000 hours? Oh, my dear, I'm heading toward 50. I've got a few 10k under my belt. But two in particular. Words and Web.
Replying to @jnnx
@jnnx Yeah but libraries assume you live somewhere like, regularly. I have to buy books, but I always pass 'em on!
Replying to @jmspool
@jmspool Did you get cheesecake?

Replying to @alastc
@alastc Also that my life is truly extraordinary. I say that in awe, as every day I'm in awe. Dropout, drugs, bad men, depression and yet.
Replying to @glazou
@glazou I love it when you fight with me.
