I love fish, seafood, poultry, beef, and lamb for my flesh options. Just about any vegetable, most legumes, most grains, and most fruits.
@manuel_alarcon Delish. The oysters were excellent too. Served with asparagus, potato, a delicious olive bread too. Really lovely meal.
@JHVanOphem I have no clue what everyone got so up in claw about.
@meyerweb and I once ate prawns in Japan in front of two vegetarians. Prawns were brought out alive and tossed right on the grill.
Enough rants on water bugs. If you prefer not to eat something, I won't force you to, I promise! Fair enough?

From a purely scientific standpoint, Lobsters have a very rudimentary nervous system. Cows, pigs, chickens likely suffer far more pain.
So yesterday I said I ate a steak, and that was okay. Goodness, eat a Lobster and the world turns upside down. What's UP with that?

@charltonb I am one of only two non-athiests in my Jewish family. We are heritage Jews, not religious ones.
My rule: if I can't kill it, I can't eat it. Hence, I'm not a veal, fois gras, cat, dog, horse or human eater.
