Erin McKean is great. In fact, wasn't I supposed to go eat? Here I am now hooked on Ted talks, yet again. Nothing else like 'em.

God didn't invent time, people did! And we implemented it very poorly. We need an aSP: the asynchronous standards project.

Ooh, I like that: omnisynchronous - all things happening at the same time. Which it does, essentially. New word for

, perhaps?

Hmm, I think the thing would be for Twitter to formally standardize a method to transcend time. Omnisynchronicity?

You have a point. I should DM myself (can one do that?) reminders like "get off of Twitter, there's an inbox and pile of work to do"

wonders if Twitter DMs will ever work properly again. Or if they ever did. DMs appearing from yesterday, today and from tomorrow, yesterday!

Is it good luck to die in a dream? I didn't die, I woke up coughing and choking and wondering who was trying to kill me lol!

In fact, I have turned it on others, and it WAS heinous. So now I have nightmares about being murdered & am tardy with my work.

speaking of session descriptions, time for Mols to go work on a stack of very tardy ones. xoxoM

yes, detailed descriptions really do help. Also, speaker setting expectations at start of session helps too. I usually do that.

@klconover You have a latest version of WP and akismet? You can also take usernames and blacklist 'em. In severe cases, even IP addresses.

it's like going out to eat and the service is bad. A kind but clear comment can sometimes change that mid-dinner, and everyone is happier.

I encourage interacting with me when I speak! Person sits through a session, dislikes it, makes no attempt to ask for specifics, what to do?

after all the analysis, it boils down to: If an attendee is not getting from me what they need, I feel responsible & want to correct it.

I wish this guy HAD left or even better, said something. I could have at least tried to address his concerns.
