@klconover actually the lovely folks at WP have done a fantastic job of improving spam control. I still have probs but it's much better now.

@dwroblewski Stern Fan Network? You must be talking about boobtube ;)
Replying to @psvensson
@psvensson do I hear the sound of a startup starting up?

@jaredmcfarland IE6 and SVG in the same sentence? No wonder the bar cut you off!
Replying to @michelletrevino
@michelletrevino my point is that this is often, not always, but often a result of a topic to audience mismatch.
Replying to @michelletrevino
@michelletrevino I agree! But the point here is when attendees come for a topic and find out they don't like a speaker's style or approach.

@crunchysue "you're welcome" ;) @TheRaj seems the most enthusiastic about Twitter, although @sheldoncooper remains my favorite.

@crunchysue Yes! @wolowizard @sheldoncooper @theraj @lesliewinkle @leonardhofstadt All quiet lately. Maybe they're at a physics conference.
reminds me about this past week's Big Bang Theory girl fight. Poor @pennyin4b. You'll always be the Queen Bee for me, Penny Penny Penny.
@AvidElyse that would be the case here. What they were yelling about I have no idea. At first I thought "Girl Fight in the hall!" but no.

@istvanv Or at the very least, a text message. It's only polite :)
@CharJTF @bphuettner It boils down to savvy matchmaking. Speaker/Subject<>Attendee/Perspective. Subject tracks should help-not sure they do.
Why do certain hotel maids insist on shouting across hallways to each other? So not cool.
Replying to @bphuettner
@bphuettner actually that's my real point beneath the silliness. Good catch ;)
@miksago exactly! And you could use JavaScript to manage speaker behavior. Ooh, and mouth gestures with bluetooth audience controls.
or, we could make a microformat - SFN (speaker's friend network). <speaker class="funny insightful tall">Jeffrey Veen</speaker>
Speaker id and class could easily be specified, for example: #jmspool .awesome
is now imagining a specificity algorithm for conference speakers and panelists.
thinking it might be time to stop accepting speaker slots at megashows that are so broad in audience scope. I have a very high specificity.
looking at other speaker ratings from the show this week. either a lot of us just sucked, or people were really grumpy. Bad coffee, maybe?
