@sil That's why I say, if I'm wrong, please correct me. Non-facts expressed passionately don't help and that is not the issue in this case.
@ChunLum Thanks dear heart. It was fantastic to see you again, although next time let's make it Hawaii again, not Texas ;)
okay okay, now I'm sobbing cuz everyone's being so sweet to me. Well, better that than crying cuz of a mean person. I will be just fine. :)
You all are correct. Consider the source. Intellectually I'm totally there. Emotionally, not so much. Fatigue plays a role, as does burnout.

@rongillmore ROFL. I think these comments come from bizdev and marcom, not devs and designers who care.
You are all very wise and I know I shouldn't let the frickin' trolls get me down. But this one issue is just painful.
The one thing I've ever done well in my entire life is my job. Or maybe I'm just kidding myself, huh?
If I have facts wrong, correct me. If I could use guidance, see me after class and say it to my face. I feel extraordinarily demoralized.

Apparently, I'm just more concerned with myself and my colleagues. I wish people knew just how hurtful and not helpful slamming can be.
I suppose that attendee didn't pay attention to the 40 minutes of HTML5, CSS3, SVG1.1, state of web browsers, standards, w3c. Oh no.

Slammed harsh once again re "name dropping" accusation in presentation. I'm an educator. History and acknowledgement are part of my job.

@KuraFire nom nom nom. That was exactly the sashimi, miso soup and seaweed salad I was pining for. And great company, too.
dreaming of sashimi and a bowl of miso and a seaweed salad
@ivanemp then a laugh you shall have, particularly if the schmeckel of which we speak is poorly formed, or covered in moss, or somesuch.

@ivanemp I'm hoping you meant that to be funny. If not, say it to me in English in front of all these Twitter eyes, I dare you. YiddishaMols
visited the Contemporary Jewish Museum in SF this afternoon. "Jews on Vinyl" - I'm still laughing, and dancing. Wonderful architecture too.
Yep, the reference was Cake. A slice of nummy cake to @afroninja and @kevinharvey for knowing. @fossilfoundry gets no cake for his guess ;)
dawn in San Francisco. Pink and grey and a long line of cars (music reference, tell me what) evenly streaming into SF via the Bay Bridge.
