@estherschindler some from both sides came over during earlier pogroms (pre ww2). My family's history has taken a lifetime to reconstruct.
Replying to @timtfj
@timtfj I personally say "football" and "American football" to distinguish as I travel so much. I personally don't like the word "soccer".
Wow! My brother Morris (the family genealogist) found a photo of our great great grandfather. For Jews, finding gems like this is a rarity.
@dstorey I did find it funny how even the Oslo natives were bundling up and you stepped off the bus the other night in a t-shirt. Crazy boy.
@tiffanybbrown Why so stressed? Not acceptable! :: sends virtual hug and professional massage therapist ::

@dstorey The US south gets its share of wicked weather (deadly hurricanes for one) so I think we don't have quite the same take on it.
Replying to @dstorey
@dstorey See, there you have it. Proof that regardless your other half, the Geordie part has made you proudly immune to the frigid weather.
Replying to @freddier
@freddier yes really! Soccer mania has taken over in the US. Most kids play it in school now, hence "Soccer Mom" and "Soccer Dad"
Replying to @dstorey
@dstorey but you're from Newcastle. It's a badge of pride to walk around as unclothed as possible in cold weather for you Geordies.
Replying to @freddier
@freddier hay mucho interes en futbol (soccer) en USA, pero si, es curiouso, no?
@globaltechevent okay, that is really wrong. Not a Jim Carey fan, me. But I appreciate the gesture. You'll have to try harder ;)
Replying to @ScreenOrigami
@ScreenOrigami But how can you play when you're a frozen popsicle?
Tornados, Fires, Polar Ice drifting southward - what the heck, is this apocalyptic? (queries the Jewish girl, hehe)
Replying to @lwcavallucci
@lwcavallucci I don't know but I imagine there are a lot of adorable Norwegian babies come August, September or so!
@ClaireLeah indeed. Do you know I don't even own a copy of my own first book? Hahaha.
Replying to @JGarcia3rd
@JGarcia3rd that would be "follow silly tweets from the relative warmth of my entertaining apartment or see Oslo" to be clear :)
@mhblacksmith I'm also told that Oslo is among one of the safest cities in the world - almost zero crime, and rarely violent crime.
Replying to @ClaireLeah
@ClaireLeah Melbourne says he'd be happy to have his measurements taken for a new scarf, and hopes you're not mad he gave his to a friend.
laughing so hard right now at all your silly tweets. Now if I can just get myself properly debugged I might see something of Oslo yet.
