Three whole days? The longest I've been sans computer since 1993 was 9 days. I had 6,000 emails on return. That part sucked.

@bazil749 Those scripts were built to repair bugs and implement HTML and CSS that didn't exist in IE 6.0. Proper DOCTYPE will fix that in 6.

BrowserTip: Yes IE6 remains a pain, but please now consider the newly updated IE Scripts from Dean Edwards http://code.google.com/p/ie7-js/

@snosnap I'm a contractor, never been an employee
@MS

And that, really, is a sociological/business problem in a rapidly changing, evolutionary environment. New business models must emerge.

I loved my recent year and a half at MS because of the vision at the very top and the sheer genius in the trenches.

Might want to ask the IE team where on the priority list SVG support is right now. Many more thoughts on this for a real blog post.

@tedgrafx good tip, but no fans up there, alas. Place was built in 84 - great layout, crap construction/insulation.
