I totally missed the "levity" / "float" correlation in my last tweet. I'm making puns within my puns & laughing at myself. OverTheCliffMols

What is with me and the puns lately? I'm either on an obsessive rant or making god-awful puns. Levity while writing about floats, I suppose.

I think that landed me squarely back in pun prison, where I shall go have some tea while waiting for your pardons. EnoughWithDaGoddessMols

O'Reilly is just as guilty as No Starch IMO. They have a strongly alpha geek brand as well. This is a break-out book for both.

- I want to clarify: My rant is not about your book's content. It's about the context, gender bias and marketing within a brand.

Gender and culture shape our perception and dealings with the world around us. Egalitarian meaning is what I'm after, IOW God = Goddess

Sociologically & anthropologically speaking, absolutely. It's why we do studies of female versus male behavior in a board room.

My rant is a result of blown expectations. I saw How to be a Geek Goddess" from No Starch and thought "Wow, a book about great tech women!"

As author of "Geek Goddess" you say "Press release was condescending" - how does the book's message differ from the market spin?

Still laughing at "Tim Berners-Lee in a toga" - y'all are more twisted than I am, you know that, right? ;)

The point is I admit to being as prurient and objectifying as the next guy.
