this apple not far fall far from mother tree. My mom in email today "I had to stop watching US news. It makes me sick. I watch the BBC now."
Hmm, it's before 8 a.m., the shops are still closed and I'm not in the mood to eat just yet. Think I'll go back to bed for a bit. ZzzzzMols
I admit I am glad not to be in the US today. My hopes are high, I just can't be around US politics without becoming very distressed.
That is if the party outside my window quiets down or moves along any time soon. What a fun but crazy Aussie town, this St. Kilda of yours.

@lachlanhardy : Right! Pretty funny to think about it. I can see why you're frustrated though. When was that code written?
Replying to @lachlanhardy
@lachlanhardy : Actually, HTML 3.2. First support was in IE 2.0 and Netscape 2.0.

@melissamaples : That I can believe. I find your adventures there completely fascinating, you're one of my "lives boldly" heroines!
@jordanbrock : Remind me to show you the "Did Not Depart" Aussie stamp in my passport from a trip 2 yrs ago. Maybe there's 4 of us now? ;)
Replying to @Extremo
@extremo : Yes, actually lots of Aussies in the U.S. Particularly in San Francisco and other major cities tech/finance/oil industries
I just realized that since I've been in Australia, I've seen/met exactly one other person from the U.S. Not that I mind, but it's curious.

@raena : THAT is hysterical. A lifetime of hot dogs to whoever reworked that Ballmer photo. "Microhoo under Ballmer" that part's scary.
Oh, and a good piece of advice: Never, ever eye the prostitutes as you pass them on the street. I'll just leave it at that.

@tiffanybbrown : just be crazier than the crazies, they'll leave you alone. I just start yelling at people if they get too close! :)
